Living Memories in Stones River National Cemetery

July 11 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Stones River National Cemetery began as the final resting place for 6,100 U.S. soldiers who lost their lives in service to our nation during the Civil War. In the decades that followed, veterans of later conflicts through Vietnam were laid to rest in that hallowed ground.
Join living historians and veterans near the Stones River National Cemetery Rostrum and learn more about the sacrifices these soldiers made for us over the course of more than a century of our nation’s 250-year history. You will have an opportunity to see the uniforms and equipment from several war time periods and learn about the stories of some the soldiers who lie in the national cemetery.
