50th Anniversary Celebration of Cannonsburgh Village

Happy 50th Anniversary Cannonsburgh Village! Join us as we celebrate the last 50 years and look ahead to the future. Cannonsburgh, established in 1976 by a committee to honor the Bicentennial of the United States, is a pioneer village that shares the history of our area from the 1800s-1940s. On July 26, 1976, it officially opened for visitors.
Today, Cannonsburgh Village showcases 20 structures and houses over 2,000 artifacts in its collection. Join us for live music, blacksmithing demonstrations, a display of Cannonsburgh themed art painted by members of the Murfreesboro Art League, and tours as we share our community’s history. For additional information email Mary Beth Nevills at mbnevills@murfreesborotn.gov or call 615-890-0355. Free and open to all ages.
